Louisville, KY - For the fourth consecutive year, the Kentucky Derby Festival won the Grand Pinnacle Award – the special event industry’s highest honor – at the International Festivals and Events Association’s 50th Annual Convention in San Antonio, TX.

 

One of the notable category, "BEST EVENT E-NEWSLETTER." received a Silver Award from the association. Kentucky Derby Festival E-Newsletter was developed by Xpressions as part of the 2004-2005 season Website.

The International Festivals and Events Association has more than 2,400 member festivals from around the world.  The awards competition honored the best special events, festival materials, promotions and ideas among the membership. Derby Festival competed with events among the ranks of the Indy 500 Festival, Walt Disney World Events, Portland Rose Festival, Fiesta Bowl, Seattle Seafair and the Tournament of Roses.
